What a great weekend in Kennett Square! The Kennett Square Police Department was proud to be out in the community during the 41st Mushroom Festival on September 12 & 13.

Our officers spent the weekend helping keep the festival safe, assisting with traffic and pedestrian safety, and enjoying the chance to connect with the many residents and visitors who came out to celebrate our community and its mushroom-growing heritage! 🍄

And, of course, our officers couldn’t be at the Mushroom Festival without enjoying some of the delicious local cuisine along the way! 🍄🍴

From answering questions and lending a helping hand to sharing plenty of smiles and conversations, our officers were happy to be part of this wonderful Kennett Square tradition.

A big thank you to the Mushroom Festival organizers, volunteers, vendors, residents, and visitors for helping make this year's festival such a great community event.

We’re always proud to serve the community we call home! 💙🍄
