Access Device Fraud, Access Device Fraud(Criminal Attempt), Identity Theft Arrest, June 30, 2026, 2800 block of Blacksmith Way (MT) – Felix Manuel Medina, M/31, of Jersey City, NJ was charged with the above offenses. The victim reported they had received a fraud alert from Home Depot asking if they had attempted to make a $628 transaction. The victim did not, so they called the fraud department and found out that there were also additional charges on their account that they had made. These charges on their account were made on 5/5/26, 5/7/26, and 5/9/23 for a total of $1,671.50. Receipts of each transaction were received from Home Depot, indicating the register used at checkout. Video footage was received of the transactions, and it showed the same individual on each date. The individual was identified as Felix Medina. The officer spoke to two witnesses who had assisted Medina. Both witnesses had used a SSN and a photo ID from Medina to confirm the account, per store policy.
A criminal complaint was filed on June 30, 2026. Felix Manuel Medina was arraigned before MDJ Monson, and bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
