The Manheim Township Police Department would like to extend its sincere appreciation to everyone who made our inaugural 250lbs Bench Press Challenge a tremendous success.
The event was held on June 27th from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Universal Athletic Club in celebration of America's 250th anniversary. It brought together members of the community, first responders, veterans, and fitness enthusiasts for an afternoon of friendly competition, camaraderie, and patriotism.
We are especially grateful to Universal Athletic Club for serving as an outstanding host and providing a first-class venue for the event.
We also extend our sincere thanks to our event sponsors. The Patriotic Order Sons of America partnered with Texas Power Bars to sponsor the grand prize, a limited edition camo Cerakote "Original" Texas Power Bars, REP Fitness generously donated nearly $700 in raffle prizes, and Flyway Excavating donated the America250 Betsy Ross flags awarded to participants who achieved 13 reps. We also appreciate Lancaster County Commissioner Josh Parsons for presenting a proclamation recognizing the event and Freedom250 for allowing us to incorporate the official Freedom250 branding into our celebration. We would also like to thank Mama In Time-out for printing the event T-shirts on-site throughout the competition, allowing participants to take home a commemorative shirt before they left.
Most importantly, thank you to every competitor who stepped up to the bench, every volunteer, judge, and spotter who donated their time, and every family member and spectator who came out to support the event. Your enthusiasm and sportsmanship created an atmosphere that reflected the very best of our community.
