On June 12, 2026 at 1248 hours, Upper Southampton PD responded to the area of Bristol and Davisville Roads for the report of reckless driving. Upon arrival, officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle operated by Steven Herold. During  the course of the investigation, Herold was found to be in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Herold was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and related charges.
