The Manheim Township Police Department and Manheim Township Fire Rescue were proud to participate in Oregon Dairy Family Farm Days, held June 9 through June 11, 2026.
Representatives from both departments attended all three days of the event, engaging with thousands of visitors from Manheim Township and surrounding communities. The annual event provided an excellent opportunity for first responders to connect with residents in a relaxed and family friendly environment.
Throughout the three-day event, police officers and firefighters displayed a variety of department vehicles and equipment, allowing attendees to get an up close look at the tools used to serve and protect the community. Visitors had the opportunity to explore patrol vehicles, fire apparatus, and specialty equipment while speaking directly with members of both departments.
In addition to the vehicle displays, personnel answered questions about public safety, discussed career opportunities in law enforcement and fire service, and strengthened relationships with community members of all ages.
