5/24/26, at 7:42 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Race Street in response to a report of a break-in that occurred two nights prior. (KS-26-004952). Upon speaking with the reporting party, it was learned that a male had attempted to enter their apartment and was peering through the windows. Contact was made with residents in the apartment building, but none matched the description given. Investigation pending.
5/25/26, at 8:30 AM, Officers were dispatched in response to a report of a late custody exchange. (KS-26-004967). The reporting party was advised that the incident would be documented, but it is a civil matter.
5/25/26, at 4:22 PM, Officers were dispatched to Anson B. Nixon Park for a large group of people allegedly drinking alcohol. (KS-26-004976). Upon arrival, a large group of people was located, but no alcoholic beverages were observed. No criminal activity was observed.
5/25/26, at 7:34 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Hazel Avenue for a small, controlled burn. (KS-26-004978). The homeowner was advised of the Borough Ordinance, and the fire was extinguished without issue.
5/26/26, at 9:10 AM, Officers were dispatched in response to a report of harassment. (KS-26-004994). Upon further investigation, it was determined that none of the incidents occurred in our jurisdiction.
5/26/26, at 9:31 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of E. State Street for a possible water main leak. (KS-26-004993). Public Works was advised and was already aware of the situation.
5/26/26, at 12:09 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Scarlett Avenue for a vehicle that had been parked in front of the reporting party’s home for a few hours. (KS-26-005004). Contact was made with an individual inside the vehicle who was doing paperwork in their work vehicle.
5/26/26, at 1:08 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Lafayette Street in response to a complaint regarding a solicitor. (KS-26-005006). Contact was made with the solicitor in the 400 Block of W. South Street, and they were advised of the Borough Ordinance pertaining to solicitation and were advised to stop.
5/26/26, at 3:00 PM, Officers were dispatched in response to a report regarding parking in the 800 Block of S. Walnut Street. (KS-26-005011). The reporting party was advised that there are no parking restrictions other than the snow emergency route and that parking is open to the public.
5/27/26, at 1:13 PM, Officers were dispatched for an alleged scam attempt involving a purchase made on Facebook Marketplace. (KS-26-005043). Upon further investigation, it appeared to be a legitimate sale and that this incident was a civil matter.
5/27/26, at 8:16 PM, Officers were dispatched to a disturbance at the basketball courts on E. South Street. (KS-26-005056). After speaking with the reporting party, they advised that they did not want to press charges against the other subject involved.
5/27/26 at 8:56 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Lafayette Street for two males arguing over a vehicle blocking the road. (KS-26-005057). Both parties were advised to go their separate ways and to stay away from each other to avoid future altercations.
5/28/26, at 10:50 AM, Officers were dispatched regarding several vehicles parked on Harvey Circle. (KS-26-005084). Signs had been posted for approximately 2 weeks advising the area would be paved. After attempts to locate the vehicle owners, the vehicles were towed.
5/28/26, at 4:42 PM, Officers were dispatched in response to a report of ongoing harassment. (KS-26-005094). The reporting party advised that they had already made a report with PSP regarding this incident because it occurred at work. No threats were made towards the reporting person at this time.
5/28/26, at 8:14 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage regarding a vehicle unable to exit. (KS-26-005099). Upon arrival, the person had already left the area.
5/29/26, at 12:00 PM, Officers were dispatched for a male juvenile with an alleged THC vape pen. (KS-26-005132). A Non-Traffic Citation was issued.
5/29/26, at 12:30 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Marshall Street for a pickup truck that had been parked there for a few months. (KS-26-005134). The owner advised that the battery was dead, but they would remove the vehicle.
5/30/26, at 1:54 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for an unknown individual knocking on the reporting party’s door. (KS-26-005170). Upon arrival, Officers checked the parking lot and apartment building but did not observe anyone.
5/30/26, at 1:39 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of E. State Street for a well-being check. (KS-26-005086). Upon speaking with the individual, they did not answer any questions in a way that raised concern for their safety or the safety of others. The reporting party was notified.
5/30/26, at 4:38 PM, Officers were dispatched for an individual who was unable to exit the parking garage because they couldn’t scan their ticket. (KS-26-005191). Officers arrived and scanned the ticket without issue.
5/30/26, at 7:08 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage in response to a report of juveniles throwing rocks from the roof onto the street. (KS-26-005193). The area was searched, but no rocks or other evidence related to the complaint was located.
5/30/26, at 10:40 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for damage discovered to vehicle tires. (KS-26-005178). Two of the vehicle’s tires appeared to be punctured. This incident is pending further investigation.
