On May 31, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Saugerties Police Department arrested John P. Candlin, age 19, of Lake Katrine, NY, for the misdemeanors of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC ≥ .18, Driving While Intoxicated, and Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 3rd Degree.  Candlin was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
