Strangulation, Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, Harassment Arrest, May 18, 2026, Dutchland Motel at 1492 Lititz Pk (MT) – Tyshon L. Johnson, M/45, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a response to a report of a disturbance. The victim stated that they got into an argument with Johnson. The argument turned physical. Johnson threw them to the ground multiple times. While the victim was on the ground, Johnson held both his hands around the victim's neck and impeded their ability to breathe. He also verbally threatened the victim, causing them to fear for their life. The officer observed a laceration to the victim’s right shoulder, bruising from fingers, and red irritation marks around the victim’s neck, a red irritation mark on the victim’s upper shoulder, and bruising on the victim’s knees. Johnson is seen on security camera footage leaving the motel room. 

A criminal complaint was filed on May 18, 2026. Tyshon L. Johnson was arraigned before MDJ Stauffer and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.
