The Fairview Township Police Department arrested 35-year-old Geoffrey Scott Leonard of South Street, Harrisburg after police were dispatched to a domestic dispute at a local hotel in the 100 block of Beacon Hill Blvd., New Cumberland on April 11, 2026.

Upon investigation, officers learned that Geoffrey Leonard was alleged to have stolen a dog from his girlfriend and fled the area. Officers also confirmed Leonard was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Susquehanna Township for retail theft.

Leonard was later located in a nearby field in possession of the dog. During the encounter, he provided false identifying information and was found to be in possession of a firearm, syringes, and suspected methamphetamine. 

Leonard was taken into custody, transported to Central Booking, and processed on multiple charges.
