On May 8, 2026, at 04:30 Hours, Lancaster Township Police was dispatched to a residence in Lancaster Township, Lancaster County for a report of a sexual assault.   The sexual assault was investigated by the LTPD Criminal Investigations Unit and Lancaster County Children and Youth.  The investigation showed that Jones entered the Victim child's bedroom on May 8, 2026, and sexually assaulted the Victim child during the early morning hours.  An arrest warrant for Mr. Jones was obtained at District Court 02-2-03.  

For this incident he is charged with:

• Rape of a Child, F-1
• Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Child, F-1
• Statutory Sexual Assault, F-1
• Aggravated Indecent Assault of a Child, F-1
• Sexual Assault, F-2
• Indecent Assault of a Pers less than 13 YOA, F-3
• Indecent Assault without Consent of Another, M-2

On May 11, 2026, while investigating the initial sexual assault, LTPD Criminal Investigations Unit and Lancaster Children and Youth determined that in December of 2025 Mr. Jones masturbated in front of another 14-year-old child while the child was nearby and watching TV. 

For the previous 2025 incident Mr. Jones is charged with:

• Corruption of Minors, F-3
• Indecent Exposure, M-1

On May 12, 2026, Mr. Jones was taken into custody without incident at a residence in Pequea Township by Pequea Township Police and surrounding police agencies.  He was taken to Lancaster County Prison where he was arraigned by Hon. Frank H. Ember, Jr. of District Court 02-3-09.  For the Rape case, Mr. Jones was denied bail.  For the Corruption of Minors case, bail was set at $100,000 straight.  Mr. Jones shall remain incarcerated pending a preliminary hearing at District Court 02-2-03 on May 18, 2026 at 09:00 Hours.
