Angel Efrain Hernandez Sanchez was located and taken into custody by the Springfield, Massachusetts Police Department on an arrest warrant issued by our agency. Following his apprehension, Hernandez Sanchez was held at the Hampden County Correctional Center in Ludlow, Massachusetts, where he awaited extradition.
On May 5, 2026, deputies from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office extradited Hernandez Sanchez to Lancaster County. He was subsequently committed to the Lancaster County Prison, where he remains in custody pending a preliminary hearing related to the charges in this matter.
🚨 WARRANT ISSUED – PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED 🚨
On March 26, 2026, the Lancaster Township Police Department responded to the 700 block of Sterling Place for the report of a burglary in progress.
Following the investigation, officers determined that Angel Efrain Hernandez Sanchez broke into an occupied residence by kicking open a door and threatening violence to occupants. Hernandez fled the scene prior to police arrival.
As a result of the investigation, Hernandez has been charged with:
- One (1) Count of Burglary (F1)
- One (1) Count of Terroristic Threats (M1)
- One (1) Count of Criminal Mischief (M3)
An active arrest warrant is currently in effect.
