On Monday, March 9, 2026, the Stroud Area Regional Police Department was dispatched to 748 Milford Road (Artemis Crystals) for the report of a retail theft.

The investigation found that on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at approximately 1:39 p.m., an unknown female entered the store placed several items on the counter and also placed what appeared to be a $20 bill on the counter. While the cashier was bagging the merchandise, the female attempted to distract and rush her by stating she needed to leave. When the cashier asked for payment, the female stated she had already paid with a $20 bill. The cashier then handed the female the merchandise along with $3.83 in change for the purchase.

 The female then passed all points of sale without actually paying for the merchandise and left the store with the merchandise as well as the $3.83 from the cash register. 

Anyone with information on the identity on the female pictured is asked to "Submit a tip".  All tipsters can remain anonymous or leave their contact information for the investigating officer. 

ALL SUSPECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW. THESE ARE MERELY ACCUSATIONS OF A CRIME.
