***UPDATE - LOCATED SAFE***

On 1/3/2026 at approximately 1:00 PM, the Carlisle Police Department responded to the 200 Block of South Pitt Street for a report of a missing person. Once on scene, the Carlisle Police discovered Wayne Hovermill had left his residence on 1/2/2026 around 10:00 AM and never returned.  Hovermill was last seen at the Carlisle DMV on Walnut Bottom Road on 1/2/2026 at 10:30 AM.  Hovermill is described as 6'4", bald, white male last seen wearing a black Baltimore Ravens sweatshirt.  Hovermill is in need of medications that he does not currently have with him.  Anyone with information about Hovermill's whereabouts is encouraged to submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH or by contacting the Carlisle Police at 717-243-5252.
