12/14/25, at 2:00 AM, Officers were dispatched to N. Union Street and Sickle Street for a disturbance involving a vehicle that possibly struck a utility pole with two male occupants shouting at each other. (KS-25-014025). The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
12/14/25 at 10:25 AM, Officers were dispatched to a physical altercation involving two juvenile females. (KS-25-014059). Charges are pending for this incident.
12/14/25, at 1:44 PM, while on routine patrol in the area of State Street and Union Street, Officers observed a disabled vehicle with its hazards on blocking the southbound lane of N. Union Street. (KS-25-014035). Officers assisted in pushing the vehicle forward into the nearby alley to wait for their friend to arrive.
12/15/25 at 10:13 AM, Officers were dispatched to the Race Street Apartments regarding a lack of snow removal. (KS-25-014089). Contact was made with property maintenance, who advised that they were cleaning the sidewalks and spreading salt.
12/16/25, at 12:01 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. South Street for a vandalism report. (KS-25-014135). It was advised that the paint was easily removed without permanent damage. No charges were filed.
12/17/25, from 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM, a patrol was conducted off of Robinson Way. No violations of loud music, loud exhaust, or excessive speed were observed. (KS-25-014143).
12/18/25, at 5:17 PM, two vehicles were towed from the 100 Block of E. State Street during the Tinsel on the Town Event. (KS-25-014164).
12/18/25, at 6:58 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of E. State Street for a parking complaint regarding four vehicles illegally parked in a parking lot. (KS-25-014169). Parking tickets were issued.
12/19/25, at 2:56 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of E. State Street for an alarm. Upon arrival, the door was found open, and the building was cleared, with no one found inside. (KS-25-014176).
12/19/25 at 10:22 PM, Officers were dispatched for someone who could not exit the parking garage. (KS-25-014199). The reporting party advised that they had parked during an event the night prior, when the gates were open, and did not have a ticket to exit. Officers assisted as needed.
12/19/25, at 7:19 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to stop for the posted stop sign at Birch Street and S. Walnut Street. (KS-25-014193). During contact, Officers detected an odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Subsequently, both occupants of the vehicle were issued Non-Traffic Citations for the small amount of marijuana located.
12/20/25, at 7:13 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had failed to stop for the posted stop sign at W. Sickle Street and N. Mill Road. (KS-25-014229). Since the vehicle lacked a valid registration, it was towed from the stop location.
12/20/25, at 9:40 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Scarlett Avenue for a possible disturbance with an open line. (KS-25-014231). Contact was made with the occupants of the residence, who advised that their Apple watch may have called 911 by mistake. Everything appeared okay.
12/14/25, at 6:25 AM, a vehicle accident occurred on N. Union Street. (KS-25-014028).
12/14/25, at 4:06 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on S. Garfield Street. (KS-25-014039).
12/18/25, at 3:44 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on S. Union Street. (KS-25-014162).
