On December 10th, 2025 SARPD was dispatched to the 1000 blk of W. Main St for a report of vandalism to several decorative snowman in Stroudsburg Boro.  The caller reported that sometime in the last week, unknown persons had damaged 3 of the annual snowmen on display within Stroudsburg Borough. On 12/14/25 an additional snowman was added to the report. The following was reported:

1. "Pocono Joe"- located at the Pocono Mt. Visitors Center at 1004 W. Main St. -  fishing pole that was part of the display was removed.
2. "Conehead"- Located at Main St/8th-  Nose removed
3. "Olaf"- located on the 600 block of Main St-  Nose removed
4. "Phil Me"- Artfully created pencil was removed.

It was found that on December 4, 2025 at approximately 7:36 pm, 3 individuals were seen vandalizing several snowmen on Main St.  SARPD is attempting to identify the individuals involved in this incident.  

Anyone with information on the identity of these 3 individuals (or in possession of a fishing pole, 2 snowmen noses and a pencil) is asked to "Submit a tip".  All tipsters can remain anonymous or leave contact information for the investigating officer.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.  THESE ARE MERELY ACCUSATIONS OF A CRIME.
