On September 8, 2025 at about 2:45 PM the Saugerties Police Department arrested Terrie A. Lawless, age 27, of Cairo, NY following a three-car motor vehicle accident.  Resulting from that collision, Lawless arrested for the misdemeanor of Driving While Intoxicated as well as the traffic infractions of leaving the scene of a property damage accident and improper lane use.  Lawless who refused a chemical test, was processed at the Saugerties Police Department, and arraigned in the Village of Saugerties Justice Court.  Lawless was released on her own recognizance to appear in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
