PWID, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Registration Required Arrest, March 31, 2025, Fruitville Pk at Ketter Ave (MT) – Timothy Charles Hood, M/57, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a traffic stop for expired registration. Additionally, the registered owner, Timothy Hood, was found to have an active arrest warrant. While speaking with Hood, a butane torch was observed in plain view. Butane torches are often used for heating up glass pipes for the inhalation of illegal narcotics. Hood was asked to exit the vehicle. A glass pipe, recognized as a meth or crack pipe, fell from his lap onto the roadway. Hood granted consent to search the vehicle. A coffee can filled with clear plastic baggies containing cloudy white crystals was found. A pill container containing more cloudy white crystals and a small yellow zip-lock style baggie containing still more crystals were found.
Additionally, a smoking device with charred residue was found. Inside the vehicle was a notebook with numerous phone numbers and what appeared to be small amounts consistent with narcotic sales. A search of Timothy Good’s person revealed $400 cash, all in $20 bill denominations. The white crystals were tested, and an immediate positive result for amphetamine/methamphetamine was found.

A criminal complaint was filed on April 1, 2025.  Timothy Charles Hood was taken into custody, arraigned, and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
