3/16/25, at 8:48 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of S. Mill Road for an elevator alarm. (KS-25-002910). Upon arrival, the elevator was working fine, with no one trapped inside.
3/17/25, at 8:45 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of W. Sickle Street for an activated burglary alarm. (KS-25-002950). While en route, dispatch advised the alarm company had spoken to the owner, who provided the proper passcode.
3/17/25, at 12:41 PM, Officers were dispatched to Hornblende Avenue for a complaint of a small black dog running in the roadway. (KS-25-002960). The owner of the dog was advised that if police were called again for their dog running loose, they would receive a Non-Traffic Citation for violating Borough Ordinance 3-4.
3/17/25, at 1:00 PM, Officers received a report regarding a large group of people wearing costumes and having a party in the 300 Block of Walnut Court Way two nights prior. (KS-25-002961). The reporting party advised two people carried a ladder to their window and were banging on it. Officers advised they should call the police while the incident is occurring to provide better assistance.
3/18/25, at 11:21 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street for a fire alarm. (KS-25-002994). Upon arrival, it was determined that the alarm had been set off during the alarm company's testing.
3/18/25, at 12:01 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of Ridge Avenue for an attempted theft. (KS-25-002996). The reporting party advised they observed an unknown male on their video footage attempting to open their vehicle door without permission while walking on the sidewalk. The area was checked for the suspect with negative results.
3/19/25, at 1:45 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. South Street for a noise complaint. (KS-25-003038). Contact was made with a subject working on a car stereo, who advised that they were trying to adjust the balance of the speakers but would keep the volume down.
3/19/25, at 7:04 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Marshall Street for an emotional disorder involving a male juvenile. (KS-25-003051). Officers spoke with the juvenile and provided information on local therapists who can assist with their mental health. All parties involved expressed their thanks to the Officers for their assistance.
3/19/25, at 10:24 PM, Officers assisted the West Goshen Police Department in translating the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests into Spanish. (KS-25-003071).
3/20/25, at 2:19 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 Block of W. South Street on a vehicle with no inspection or emission stickers and dark window tint. (KS-25-003095). Subsequently, the vehicle was towed from the location because it was not insured, and the operator's driver's license was suspended.
3/20/25, at 6:37 PM, Officers were dispatched to W. State Street and Lafayette Street for an erratic red motorcycle traveling westbound at a high rate of speed. (KS-25-003102). No motorcycle was observed in the area.
3/20/25, at 8:34, a traffic stop was conducted in the 500 Block of Magnolia Street on a vehicle that was observed speeding and driving erratically. (KS-25-003110). During contact with the vehicle operator, Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Subsequently, no signs of impairment were observed by either Officer, and a Non-Traffic Citation for Disorderly Conduct was issued for the paraphernalia located.
3/20/25, at 9:38 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of N. Union Street for an alarm. (KS-25-003113). The back door was found to be wide open, with no signs of tampering and no wet footprints throughout the home. The homeowner advised they were away and someone would be by to lock the door properly.
3/21/25, at 7:24 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage for someone unable to exit. (KS-25-003154). Officers reset the exit gate, and it began functioning correctly again.
3/22/25, at 10:55 AM, a traffic stop was conducted in the 100 Block of N. Mill Road on a vehicle with an inoperable taillight, headlight, and dead plate. (KS-25-003179). The vehicle registration was seized and returned to PennDOT by mail.
3/22/25, at 9:36 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Birch Street for a noise complaint of loud music. (KS-25-0003206). Upon arrival, no music was heard in the area. The reporting party was notified of the outcome.
3/16/25, at 2:52 AM, a reportable accident occurred on Center Street. (KS-25-002905).
3/20/25, at 10:03 AM, a non-reportable accident occurred on E. South Street. (KS-25-003079).
3/22/25, at 3:34 PM, a non-reportable accident occurred in a parking lot in the 200 Block of Birch Street. (KS-25-003194).
