11/10/24, at 1:05 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of N. Union Street for two juveniles who had brought alcohol to the reporting party’s residence to meet with their daughter. (KS-24-010089). Subsequently, a Non-Traffic Citation for underage drinking was issued.

11/10/24, at 8:58 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of E. Maple Alley for a disturbance. (KS-24-010093). The reporting party advised that someone in a vehicle had told them to move out of the way or they would be pushed by his truck. The truck left the scene prior to police arrival.

11/10/24, at 4:16 PM, Officers were advised of a damaged vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 600 Block of E. Cope Road, and the reporting party wanted it removed. (KS-24-010101). Due to the vehicle being parked in a private lot, Officers advised the building’s manager would need to have the vehicle removed.

11/10/24, at 4:36 PM, Officers were dispatched to the walking path between Dalmatian Lane and the Juniper Apartments for an intoxicated subject. (KS-24-010102). A male subject was located, intoxicated and unconscious, just off the walking path. Medics were dispatched due to his condition.

11/10/24, at 4:59 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of S. Broad Street for a parking complaint of a vehicle parked in front of the reporting party’s residence. (KS-24-010103). Upon arrival, it was observed the vehicle was parked legally.

11/11/24, at 7:20 AM, a found wallet was turned over to Officers in the 100 Block of W. State Street. (KS-24-010118). Officers were able to contact the owner of the wallet and return it later in the day.

11/11/24 at 11:11 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for a disturbance between roommates. (KS-24-010122). After further investigation, a Non-Traffic Citation for Harassment was issued.

11/12/24, at 1:03 PM, a ChildLine report was received indicating suspected physical abuse. (KS-24-010160). Upon further investigation, there was no suspicion of abuse in the home.

11/12/24, at 9:47 PM, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Magnolia Street and S. Garfield Street for an accident report. (KS-24-010163). Subsequently, the operator of the vehicle that struck two unattended parked cars was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

11/12/24, at 7:21 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 800 Block of Burrows Run Road to assist the Kennett Township Police Department with an emotional disorder. (KS-24-010168). Officers assisted with trying to locate the patient, who had fled into the woods behind the residence.

11/13/24, at 3:37 AM, while conducting business checks in the 400 Block of W. Cypress Street, Officers observed an open door to a business. (KS-24-010166). Officers conducted a search of the business and did no observe any damage or foul play.

11/13/24, at 11:50 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Magnolia Street for a shots-heard complaint (KS-24-010190). The reporting party advised that it occurred approximately 5 minutes prior and believed it was from a handgun. Officers conducted patrols and did not observe anything or anyone in the area. Frequent patrols were conducted for the remainder of the shift.

11/14/24, at 5:00 AM, Officer Ortiz and Officer Andress, members of the Chester County Regional Emergency Response Team, assisted the Chester County Detectives with a warrant service in the 100 Block of Walnut Street, Coatesville, PA (KS-24-010219).

11/14/24, at 9:50 AM, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of S. Union Street and Scarlett Avenue for a truck with a trailer blocking the road (KS-24-010199). Officers provided directions so the driver could turn around and get back on course.

11/14/24, at 10:31 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of W. State Street for a fire alarm. (KS-24-010210). Upon arrival, police assistance was not needed.

11/15/24, at 9:47 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Elizabeth Drive to assist the Kennett Township Police Department with a physical domestic. (KS-24-010246).

11/15/24, at 11:27 PM, Officers were requested to assist Pennsylvania State Police Avondale with a burglary on W. Jonathan Court (KS-24-010247). Upon arrival, PSP was already on the scene, and KSPD’s assistance was no longer needed.

11/16/24, at 9:43 AM, Officers were dispatched to the area of S. Union Street and E. Cypress Street for an erratic driver complaint. (KS-24-010249). Chester County Police Radio advised the vehicle was traveling towards Route 1, out of the Borough. The area was checked with negative results.

11/16/24, at 1:34 PM, Officers were dispatched for reports of someone “leafing” various cars in the Borough, placing Church bulletins on the windshields of parked vehicles (KS-24-010255). The matter is pending further investigation.

11/16/24, at 3:19 PM, Officers were dispatched to the parking garage in the 100 Block of E. Linden Street for a parking complaint (KS-24-010262). Upon arrival, Officers assisted a motorist exit the garage. They observed the kiosk working appropriately for multiple cars to exit.
