9/1/24 at 3:33 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of loud music in the 300 Block of Harvey Circle. (KS-24-007778). Upon arrival, 3 males were observed playing loud music in a vehicle in the driveway. All three subjects appeared intoxicated. Subsequently, one Non-Traffic Citation was issued for Disorderly Conduct.
9/1/24 at 8:05 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of W. State Street for a trespassing complaint. (KS-24-007780). Upon arrival, Officers observed a male working in the parking garage and were shown text messages confirming he was there to remove carpeting.
9/1/24 at 9:34 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of N. Mill Road for an alarm at a residence. (KS-24-007793). The house was secure, and there were no signs of tampering or damage to the doors or windows.
9/2/24 at 1:51 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of W. South Street for a well-being check of a male asleep in a vehicle (KS-24-007800). They contacted the male, who advised that he was in the rear of his residence. They asked him to go inside and not shine his headlights into neighbor’s residences.
9/3/24 at 11:41 PM, while conducting a routine patrol in Anson B. Nixon Park, Officers observed a vehicle enter the park and proceed to the lower parking lot (KS-24-007859). They contacted the two subjects in the vehicle, who stated they came to “chill” but did not realize the park was closed and left without issue.
9/3/24 at 4:51 PM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint in the area of S. Walnut Street and Crossing Court (KS-24-007846). Officers arrived on location and observed all vehicles parked legally and not obstructing the roadway.
9/3/24 at 6:16 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 800 Block of Washington Street for an animal complaint possibly involving the owner hitting their dogs. (KS-24-007847). Officers spoke with the owner, who advised they were yelling due to potty training their dog but never hit them. All three dogs appeared healthy and did not shy away from their owner.
9/4/24 at 11:00 AM, Officers were dispatched for a male juvenile who was in possession of a marijuana cigarette in their backpack. (KS-24-007868). Their parent was contacted, and a Non-Traffic Citation was issued for Disorderly Conduct.
9/4/24 at 3:00 PM, Officers received a report of a vehicle left parked in a privately owned parking lot in the 100 Block of S. Union Street (KS-24-007874). The reporting party was advised that they could have the vehicle towed since it is private property.
9/4/24 at 7:41 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of W. Cypress Street for a noise complaint. (KS-24-007886). The officer did not hear anything upon arrival.
9/4/24, at 9:45 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Meredith Street for a water meter leaking into the roadway (KS-24-007888). Public Works was contacted.
9/5/24, at 10:09 AM, Officers were flagged down while on patrol by a passerby who advised that a dog had been left in a vehicle in the YMCA's parking lot (KS-24-007904). Upon arrival, Officers located the vehicle with cracked windows, and the dog did not seem distressed. The owner of the vehicle advised they were only inside for 15 minutes.
9/5/24 at 10:00 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of S. Broad Street for an odor of gas. (KS-24-007926). Officers and Fire personnel cleared the scene and notified PECO after being unable to pinpoint the precise location.
9/6/24 at 9:23 AM, Officers were dispatched for a vehicle with fake inspection and emission stickers in the 400 Block of E. State Street. (KS-24-007940). After further investigation, two traffic citations were issued for the owner of the vehicle.
9/6/24 at 10:04 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of W. State Street for fingerprints discovered on the outside of a window. (KS-24-007941). The reporting party advised they just wanted to make the police aware in case anything happened in the future.
9/6/24 at 11:05 PM, Officers were dispatched to assist Pennsylvania State Police Avondale with an emotional disorder in the 100 Block of E. Street Road, East Marlboro Township. (KS-24-007965). Officers stayed on scene until relieved by two Troopers.
9/7/24 at 10:08 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E State Street for a parking complaint involving three vehicles illegally parked in a private lot (KS-24-007970). Parking tickets were issued.
9/7/24 at 7:01 PM, Officers were dispatched for a suspicious person report of multiple juveniles in the lobby of a business in the 100 Block of E. State Street (KS-24-007982). Officers contacted the juveniles sitting at a table in the lobby, and they were advised that the business was closed due to the Mushroom Festival and that they would need to leave. Nothing appeared to be defaced or damaged.
9/7/24 at 8:27 PM, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious condition in the 700 Block of Meredith Street for subjects possibly trying to open the reporting party’s vehicle. (KS-24-007986). Upon arrival at the location, Officers did not observe damage or signs that the vehicle was rummaged through.
9/5/24 at 4:59 PM, a Non-Reportable Accident occurred on W. State Street. (KS-24-007922).
9/5/24 at 6:49 PM, a Non-Reportable Accident occurred on N. Union Street. (KS-24-007924).
9/7/24 at 4:57 PM, a Non-Reportable Accident occurred on W. Cypress Street at its intersection with S. Mill Road. (KS-24-007978).
