Maintenance Activities Scheduled in Bucks and Delaware Counties

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 9, 2024

Maintenance Activities Scheduled in Bucks and Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various maintenance activities are scheduled in Bucks and Delaware counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, May 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed between Mount Eyre Road and Woodside Road in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Mount Eyre Road, Taylorsville Road, and Woodside Road.
  • Tuesday, May 14, through Friday, May 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road/Delaware Avenue/Delmorr Avenue) will be closed weekdays between Woodside Road and Bridge Street in Lower Makefield and Morrisville Borough, Bucks County for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Bridge Street, U.S. 13 (Bristol/Yardley) Interchange, Yardley Interchange, Pine Grove Road/Yardley-Morrisville Road/Main Street/Taylorsville Road, and Woodside Road.
  • Wednesday, May 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Goshen Road will be closed between Darby Paoli Road and Malin Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County for tree removal. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Darby Paoli Road, Bryn Mawr Avenue, Route 3 (West Chester Pike), and Route 252 (Newtown Street Road).

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
