The Fairview Township Police Department was dispatched to an active dumpster fire in the 100 block of W. Front Street, Lewisberry on November 29, 2023 at 7:46 pm.  Officers responded and interviewed witnesses who observed a female start the fire.  Officers located the female and identified her as 45 year old Heather K. Melchert who admitted to her actions.
