12/17/23 at 5:32AM, Officers were dispatched to assist PSP Avondale for a burglary in progress at a restaurant in the 100 Block of Onix Drive. (KS-23-011806). Upon arrival, Officers were advised the actor fled the scene prior to police arrival.

12/17/23 at 11:53AM, Officers were dispatched for a traffic hazard at W. Cypress Street and Center Street. (KS-23-011809). Due to the amount of oil in the roadway, the road was closed off with barricades.

12/17/23 at 6:09PM, Officers were dispatched for a parking complaint in the 100 Block of E. State Street. (KS-23-011815). Officers were able to make contact with the vehicle owner and have the vehicle moved.

12/18/23 at 10:16AM, Officers were dispatched for a juvenile who stated they had a bomb in their backpack. (KS-23-011830). The juvenile advised Officers “it was a joke”. Pending charges.

12/18/23 at 10:34AM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of E. Mulberry Street for a report of a domestic. (KS-23-011831). The reporting party advised a male subject broke a window, attempting to gain access to the residence. Officers conducted a sweep of the residence and observed the male subject to be the only one on scene.

12/19/23 at 10:32AM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of S. Broad Street for a report of a theft. (KS-23-011864). The reporting party advised their package was delivered across the alleyway and their video surveillance observed a male take the package and leave the area. Pending further investigation.

12/20/23 at 12:51PM, Officers were dispatched for a harassment report in the 100 Block of S. Union Street. (KS-23-011905). The reporting party advised Officers he had an active bench warrant and wanted to go to prison. Subsequently, the bench warrant was confirmed, and he was transported to Chester County Prison.

12/20/23 at 8:14PM, Officers were dispatched for a found dog in the area of Taylor Street and Chestnut Street. (KS-23-011914). Upon arrival, the owner of the dog was located, and the dog was returned without incident.

12/20/23 at 9:00AM, Officers were notified of a hit and run accident involving a traffic sign on the island on N. Union Street, at Fairthorne Street. (KS-23-011901). Car debris was collected from the scene, however the car part number could not be identified.

12/21/23 at 5:37PM, Kennett Township Police were dispatched for a hit & run accident on Cedarcroft Road and N. Mill Road. (KS-23011936). The striking vehicle’s registration returned to an address on Hornblende Avenue. Officers checked the area for the vehicle with no success.

12/22/23 at 7:13PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of Maiden Lane for a parking complaint. (KS-23-011954). Officers were able to make contact with the vehicle owner and they moved the vehicle.

12/22/23 at 10:34PM, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Taylor Street for an erratic driver complaint. (KS-23-011960). The reporting party was able to provide Officers video footage of the vehicle doing donuts within the intersection. The area was searched for the described vehicle with negative results. Pending further investigation.

12/23/23 at 11:30PM, Officers were dispatched to assist Kennett Township Police with a fight in the 100 Block of New Granite Way. (KS-23-011996). KSPD assisted as needed until the incident was cleared.

12/23/23 at 10:19PM, Officers were dispatched to a drugs complaint in the 300 Block of E. State Street. (KS-23-011989). Officers conducted a foot patrol through the area, but could not pinpoint the exact location the odor of marijuana was coming from.

12/23/23 at 1:18AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Chrysler in the 600 Block of S. Broad Street. (KS-23-011965). Subsequently, the operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
