Recently, there have been reports of dogs unaccompanied by owners. The Lower Gwynedd Township Police Department wants to remind our community of our Dog Ordinance.

Just a reminder that all dogs must be kept under the control of their owners at all times, whether you are on your property or in a public park.

Pennsylvania and Lower Gwynedd Township dog laws require dogs to be on leash and under control when in public.  When on private property, dogs must be kept on the property and not allowed to run loose.

Dog owners are ultimately responsible for any damage their dogs cause to other animals, people, or property.

If you see a dog acting menacingly, attacking wildlife or other domestic animals or people, please call 911.
