Baldi Diaz-Lucas, age 19, of Kennett Square, was arrested and charged with DUI and other related traffic offenses, after the 2020 Honda he was operating was stopped for traveling through a stop sign without coming to a complete stop. The incident occurred on November 29, 2022, at approximately 7:37PM, at the intersection of N. Mill Road and W. Sickle Street, Kennett Square Borough. Upon making contact with Diaz-Lucas, Officers observed two cases of alcoholic beverages in the backseat of the vehicle along with indicators suggesting intoxication. Field Sobriety Test showed impairment. He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and submitted to a chemical test of his breath, resulting in a BAC of 0.134%. He was processed and later released pending issuance of a summons. Charges were filed in District Court 15-3-04.
