On Wednesday July 21st, 2021 at approx. 20:31hrs Newville Police conducted a traffic stop on a gray Mercury sedan for a speeding violation. Upon contact with the driver and passenger, Officers smelled the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The passenger Jay Walter Jr (27) of Fayetteville informed Officers that he was using marijuana for his toothache and turned over a small amount of marijuana as well as two glass pipes, several marijuana roaches and a marijuana grinder. Walter is charged with POSSESSION AND TITLE 35 780-113 (a)(32) DRUG PARAPHERNALIA  and TITLE 35 780-113 (a)(31)(I) SMALL AMOUNT OF MARIJUANA.
