5/17/21 at 10:13AM, while conducting a foot patrol in the area of Scarlett Avenue, Officers were advised of a found bicycle. (KS-21-004028). Bicycle was transported to be stored at station.

5/17/21 at 1:31PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment in reference to threats being made via text message involving the repayment of a loan. (KS-21-004041). Report resulted in a civil matter.

5/17/21 at 1:55PM, while on patrol, Officers observed a disabled vehicle in the roadway on W. Cypress Street. (KS-21-004034). Officers assisted in pushing the vehicle into a parking lot a short distance away.

5/17/21 at 4:10, while on patrol Officers were notified of multiple Borough Ordinances which may be in violation in the area of the 100 Block of Scarlet Ave. (KS-21-004042). Officers did not observe Ordinance violations in said area.

5/17/21 at 4:35PM, Officers were dispatched for juveniles hanging out in the Parking Garage. (KS-21-0040740). Due to the property damage which has occurred recently juveniles were asked to leave parking garage.

5/17/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrols in Stenning Hills where no suspicious activity was observed. (KS-21-004047).

5/18/21 at 1:41PM, Officers were dispatched for four juveniles on the fourth floor of the Parking Garage. (KS-21-004065). All juveniles were advised they could not hang out in the area due to previous incidents involving property damage.

5/18/21 at 8:44PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of harassment occurring through a third party. (KS-21-004079). Charges were filed with DC 15-3-04.

5/18/21 at 8:09PM, Officers were advised of an erratic driver in Kennett Township who was approaching the Borough (KS-21-004080). KSPD were able to conduct a traffic stop on said vehicle and was turned over to KTPD.

5/18/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM, two Officers conducted continuous rotating patrols in Stenning Hills and a marked police vehicle was parked at the entrance of the Kennett High School top parking lot on South Union Street. (KS-21-004083).

5/18/21 at 2:52, Officers were dispatched for a vehicle fire involving a trash truck in the 200 Block of E. South Street. (KS-21-004074). Scene was turned over to Kennett Fire Company.

5/18/21 at 8/:31PM, Officers were dispatched for a report regarding items stolen from a vehicle in the 400 Block of East Chestnut Street. (KS-21-004085). Total value of stolen items came to approximately $460.

5/18/21 at 1:36PM, while on patrol in the area of the 400 Block of W. Mulberry Street Officers observed two juveniles in the prohibited area. (KS-21-004076). Contact was made with the juveniles and they were advised they were not allowed to be in that area.

5/18/21 at 4:39PM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a broken car window and stolen bags in the 300 Block of E. South Street. (KS-21-004067). Total value of stolen items came to approximately $400.

5/18/21, Officers checked the following areas for parking violations, per the concerns of citizens at the monthly Borough Council Meeting, Magnolia Ct, W. Mulberry St., S. Washington St., Magnolia St., Lafayette St., Garfield St., S. Union St., and Stenning Hills. (KS-21-004089). Two Parking Tickets were issued.

5/19/21 at 8:20PM, Officers observed two juveniles attempting to steal an American Flag in the KAU Field in the 300 Block of W. South Street. (KS-21-004111). Contact was made with the juveniles and they were transported back to their residences.

5/19/21 at 12:57AM, Officers were dispatched for a noise complaint in the 400 Block of Magnolia Street. (KS-21-004082). Once on scene no music was heard in the area.

5/19/21 at 4:27PM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment regarding an individual that was inappropriately touched at the 2019 Mushroom Drop. (KS-21-004109). A ChildLine report was made via phone.

5/19/21 at 11:10PM, Officers checked the following areas for parking violations, per the requests of concerned citizens of the Borough, W. Mulberry St., Magnolia St., S. Broad St. and Stenning Hills. (KS-21-004115). One parking ticket was issued.

5/20/21 at 10:00AM, Officers were advised of a report on station regarding fraudulent bank accounts. (KS-21-004132).

5/20/21 at 7:00PM, a parking detail was conducted for above mentioned areas in KS-21-004089. Two Parking tickets were issued for parking violations. (KS-21-004160).

5/20/21 at 1:33PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Race Street for keys locked in a running vehicle. (KS-21-004141). Officers were able to gain entry to vehicle without damage.

5/21/21 between 6:00PM and 6:00AM, a parking detail was conducted for above mentioned areas in KS-21-004089. Two Parking tickets were issued for parking violations. (KS-21-004153).

5/21/21 at 9:21AM, SRO was requested to assist with a student whose vitals were off and exhibited signs of impairment (KS-21-004165). Officers searched the student and found vape cartridges and a vape pen. Non-Traffic Citation was issued for using/having tobacco on school property.

5/21/21 during the course of shift, Officers patrolled targeted areas (mentioned in KS-21-004089) for parking violations. Two parking tickets were issued. (KS-21-004175).

5/21/21 at 8:55PM, Officers were dispatched for an erratic driver who was heard, but not seen. (KS-21-004181) The vehicles was circling the area of W. South St, S. Union St. and Scarlett Ave. Once on scene said vehicle was not observed in the area.

5/21/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM, Officers conducted continuous rotating patrols in Stenning Hills and a marked police vehicle was parked at the entrance of the Kennett High School top parking lot on South Union Street. (KS-21-004183).

5/21/21 at approximately 11:31PM, Officers were dispatched to the area of S. Union and W. South Sts. for vehicles with loud exhausts and/or backfire. (KS-21-004177). The area was checked with negative results.

5/21/21 at 8:31PM, Officers were dispatched for a suspicious condition in the 600 Block of S. Union Street. (KS-21-004178). Reporting party stated the subject and vehicle looked similar to a flyer Delaware Police put out. Pending investigation.

5/22/21 at 8:14PM, Officers were dispatched to assist Kennett Township Police Department at the Fairfield Inn for a suspicious person looking in windows of vehicles. (KS-21-004209).

5/22/21 at 8:57PM, KTPD requested assistance with a physical altercation in the 200 Block of New Granite Way. (KS-21-004210).

5/22/21 between 11:30PM and 3:30AM Officers conducted mobile and stationary patrol checks in the areas of Stenning Hills, E. Chestnut St., S. Walnut St., Hessian Cir., W. Mulberry St and the Apartment complexes. No suspicious vehicles or pedestrians were observed. (KS-21-004213).

5/22/21 parking enforcement was conducted between 6:00PM and 6:00AM. One parking ticket was issued in the 600 Block of D Street. (KS-21-004216).

5/16/21 at 1:38PM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident on Elm Street. (KS-21-004012).

5/17/21 at 11:39AM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident on West Cypress Street. (KS-21-004038).

5/18/21 at 4:06PM, Officers were dispatched for a Reportable Accident on South Union Street. (KS-21-004075).

5/19/21 at 5:20PM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident in a parking lot on South Union Street. (KS-21-004110).

5/20/21 at 7:55AM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident at the intersection of West Cypress Street and Center Street. (KS-21-004133).

5/22/21 at 8:53PM, Officers were dispatched for a Non-Reportable Accident on East South Street. (KS-21-004206).


Traffic Enforcement

14 Traffic Citations and 8 Written Warnings were issued.


Patrol & Business Checks

13 Business Checks were conducted.

21 Patrol Checks conducted in the Business District.

2 Patrol Checks conducted on East Linden and Willow Streets.

6 Patrol Checks conducted at the Apartment Complexes.

6 Patrol Checks conducted at Anson B. Nixon Park.
