OPERATION PACKAGE PROTECTORS

LANSDALE BOROUGH- Package theft continues to be a concern across the country, especially as online shopping increases during the holiday season. An estimated 104 million packages were stolen nationwide in 2025, representing approximately $15 billion in losses. More than 41 million Americans experienced package theft during a 12-month period.

The Lansdale Borough Police Department wants to help keep your holiday deliveries out of the hands of porch pirates.

What is Operation Package Protectors?

Operation Package Protectors is a free holiday program available to Lansdale Borough residents. Instead of having eligible packages delivered to your home while you are away, you can have them delivered directly to the Lansdale Borough Police Department, where they will be securely stored until you can pick them up.

The 2026 program runs from November 16 through December 21, 2026.

How It Works

When placing an online order, address your package as follows:

C/O Lansdale Borough Police Department
1 Vine Street, Suite 101
Lansdale, PA 19446

Once your package has been delivered:

Come to the Lansdale Borough Police Department to pick it up.
Bring a government-issued photo ID matching the name on the package.
Bring proof of purchase or a receipt showing the package was shipped to the Lansdale Borough Police Department in your name.
Packages must be picked up within three days of delivery.

Rules & Regulations

Lansdale Borough residents only.
Program runs November 16 – December 21, 2026.
Packages must weigh less than 25 pounds.
Packages must be picked up within three days of delivery.
Government-issued photo ID matching the name on the package is required.
Proof of purchase or a receipt is required.
We accept eligible deliveries from Amazon, FedEx and UPS.
UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE packages cannot be accepted.
Packages must be addressed to the resident C/O Lansdale Borough Police Department at the address listed above.
