On Friday March 13th, 2020 Newville Police conducted a traffic stop on a tan Chevrolet pickup for an expired PA State Inspection of 6/2019 in the area of the Family Dollar store  in Newville. The driver was identified as BRANDON WAYNE APPLEBY 34 of Waynesboro. Officers smelled the odor of marijuana emitting from inside said vehicle. Officers informed APPLEBY of this and APPLEBY informed that he had a small amount of marijuana and handed it to the Officer. Charges were filed on APPLEBY for Title 35 780-113a3i small amount of marijuana and Title 75 4703 expired inspection.
