DUI – Controlled Substance, DUS – DUI Related, DUS Arrest, June 1, 2026, 1507 Lititz Pk (MT) – William R. Pflumm, M/67, of Lancaster, PA, was charged with the above offenses following a response to a report of a male slumped over in a vehicle, who was not responding to honking or knocking on the window. Officers arrived at the parking lot and found Pflumm unconscious in the driver’s seat, and the vehicle was running. After knocking, Pflumm came to and appeared extremely disoriented. There was an open alcohol drink observed in the center console of the vehicle. Pflumm had bloodshot, watery eyes and pinpoint pupils. He also had thick, slurred, slow speech. His movements were slow and deliberate, and he was unsteady on his feet. Standard Field Sobriety Tests were attempted but were not completed. He provided a sample of bloo,d which showed that Pflumm had ingested a sufficient amount of a controlled substance, which did impair his ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

A criminal complaint was filed on June 1, 2026. William R. Pflumm was taken into custody and committed to Lancaster County Prison.
