On November1, 2026 at 12:06 AM, a traffic stop was conducted on a Black 2025 Nissan Kicks with Illinois registration on I-39 near milepost #14. The vehicle was observed traveling southbound at a speed of 110 miles per hour, exceeding the maximum speed limit of 70 miles per hour.

The driver, a 20-year-old male, was identified as Keshawn Kingcade. Kingcade was cooperative during the stop and explained that he had cruise control enabled and was not aware of his speed. A check of Kingcade's driver privileges revealed an active arrest warrant with the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.

Kingcade was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Woodford County Sheriff's Office for processing. He was issued a citation for speeding and processed for the outstanding warrant.
