LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function filed a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause against Robert W. BATTLE, age 35, of Lebanon, alleging he committed the crimes of DUI General Impairment, DUI High Rate of Alcohol and (1) summary traffic offense.

On 06/13/2026 at 12:26 AM, an LBPD officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving without taillights and headlights on at night. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as BATTLE, the officer observed that BATTLE had bloodshot/watery eyes, was slurring his words and had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person. BATTLE was requested to perform field sobriety testing and was subsequently transferred to the LBPD to provide a sample of his breath. The breath test device showed BATTLE to have a 0.107% BAC.

BATTLE has been summoned to respond to District Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing.

BATTLE is presumed innocent.
