On Monday April 1st, 2024 at or about 1716 hours the Camp Hill Police Department was dispatched to the Giant Food Store located at 3301 Trindle Road for an active shoplifting incident. Upon arriving on scene the responding officers learned that an 18 year old male and a 17 year old juvenile female selected items offered for sale by Giant that had a total value of $28.25 and left the store passing all points of sale without paying for the items they had selected. The 18 year old male with a Shiremanstown address was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing. While at the prison he was issued a non-traffic citation for Retail Theft. The 17 year old juvenile female with a Camp Hill address was issued a non-traffic citation for Retail Theft and released at the scene to a guardian.
