Ptl. Connor Ruggles graduated from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy on Friday and officially began his service with us after being sworn in Monday morning by Associate Chief Angela Johnson.

The ceremony was made even more special with Officer Ruggles’ family in attendance, and his mom proudly pinning his badge — a moment they will surely cherish for years to come.

We are thrilled to have Ptl. Ruggles join our team. He is eager to serve and protect our citizens, visitors, and businesses, and we look forward to the positive impact he will make in our community.
