Three Suspects Arrested in July 21 Shooting on Dorchester Road

North Charleston, SC – Detectives with the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) have arrested three individuals in connection with a shooting that occurred on July 21, 2025, in the 5800 block of Dorchester Road.

Officers were dispatched to 5837 Dorchester Road in response to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers located multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two of the victims were found lying in the middle of the road and received immediate medical attention.

Through a swift and thorough investigation, NCPD detectives identified and apprehended three suspects involved in the incident. The suspects have been identified as:

• Davian Matthews, 21
• Jeremiah Thompson, 19
• A male juvenile, whose name is being withheld due to his age

All three individuals are charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Matthews and Thompson were transported to the Al Cannon Detention Center, while the juvenile suspect is currently being held in juvenile detention.
