The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) has realigned its resources to bolster its presence in the northern regions of the city, as part of our commitment to make all of our city a great place to live, work, and play. Northwoods Estates, Deer Park, and the Greenridge Rd corridor (amongst other communities) will experience a heightened police presence as a further deterrence to criminal activity.

This enhanced presence is designed to provide an added layer of security and visibility, addressing concerns and fostering a stronger sense of community. Our officers will be working closely with local residents, businesses, and community groups to build trust and promote a collaborative approach to public safety.

Despite our crime rates that continue to trend downward, we will not let our guards down and will remain vigilant in our service to our communities.
