The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) arrested two people on prostitution-related charges Saturday morning during a proactive patrol in an area along Ashley Phosphate Road.
Just after 11 a.m., officers conducting surveillance near several hotels observed a suspicious vehicle pick up a woman from the North Charleston Lodge. The truck then drove to a nearby restaurant and parked in the rear of the parking lot.
Officers reported seeing the woman, identified as 41-year-old Crystal Roselee Lynn of North Charleston, leaning over the center console of the vehicle. Police removed Lynn and the driver, identified as 46-year-old Michael James Brown of Mount Pleasant, from the truck for further investigation.
Following an investigation, Lynn was charged with soliciting prostitution, while Brown was charged with prostitution. Both were transported to the Al Cannon Detention Center.
