Detectives with the NCPD's Special Victims Unit arrested two individuals Thursday in connection with the alleged sexual exploitation of a minor at Hawthorne City Mobile Home Park.
The investigation began on February 6 after a forensic interviewer at the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center reported concerns about a home. During an interview, a juvenile disclosed multiple instances of sexual exploitation and involvement in child sexual performance.
Authorities arrested Joseph Elvis Bihlear Jr., 45, and Danielle Marie Herring, 43. Both were charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child. They were booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.
