The North Charleston Police Department is pleased to report a decline in both violent and non-violent crimes through September 2025, a direct result of the tireless efforts of our law enforcement team and the community's collective commitment to enhancing public safety.

Particularly noteworthy are the substantial decreases in homicides and robberies, which underscore the success of our crime prevention initiatives and collaborative community partnerships.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our dedicated officers and the community for their joint efforts in achieving this positive outcome.
