The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) is pleased to announce that both violent and non-violent crimes have decreased through July 2025. This downward trend is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our officers and the community's commitment to making our city a safer place to live, work, and play.

Notably, there have been significant reductions in homicides and robberies, demonstrating the effectiveness of our crime prevention strategies and community partnerships.
