Last Saturday, NCPD’s Community Engagement Unit hosted a special event — “A Baby Changes Everything” — to celebrate and support new and expectant mothers.

Seventeen mothers attended the baby shower, where they received valuable education and resources on topics such as safe travel with infants, healthy lifestyle choices, and recognizing and managing postpartum depression.

In addition to the informative sessions, our agency provided essential baby items including cribs, strollers, diaper bags, and more — helping ensure every family has a strong start.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the vendors, partner agencies, and community supporters who helped make this baby shower a huge success!
