The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) is proud to support a Lowcountry initiative aimed at combating the opioid epidemic in our community. On Thursday, September 25th from 3pm-7pm, our department will be participating in providing free naloxone kits to those in need at city hall. Just drive up and grab free naloxone kits, along with a few opioid prevention training tips (look for the pink umbrellas).
Naloxone is a lifesaving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses. By making it more accessible, we hope to reduce the number of overdose-related deaths and help individuals struggling with addiction get the support they need.
We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to get involved in the fight against opioid addiction. By working together, we can make a difference and create a safer, healthier community for all.
Remember, every life is valuable, and every effort counts in the fight against addiction.
