📚🐝 2025–2026 NCPD CAPS Winter Spelling Bee Competition 🐝📚

Get ready for one of the most uplifting youth events of the year!
Join us on January 28th at 6:30 PM at the North Charleston City Hall Council Chambers as middle school scholars from across our city step up to the mic and spell their way to victory.

This year, we’re excited to welcome Allegro Charter School and Meeting Street Brentwood to our competition lineup! Five outstanding scholars from each middle school will represent their schools with pride, confidence, and a whole lot of determination.

🏅 Every contestant will receive a medal and certificate.
🥇 Prizes and gifts awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!

And for a little inspiration and a good laugh:

The purpose of the North Charleston Police Departments’ Cops Athletic Program is to inspire, educate, and empower the young minds within the community with a positive lifelong educational experience, which creates a positive interaction with law enforcement personnel.
