North Charleston Police Department detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday night outside a business on Rivers Avenue.

At approximately 11:20 p.m., officers responded to KC Mulligans, located at 8410 Rivers Avenue, in reference to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.

EMS and North Charleston Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and immediately began lifesaving efforts. The victim was pronounced deceased after EMS arrived.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing. Detectives believe this is an isolated incident.
