North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) officers and detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred this afternoon in the Deer Park area of the city.

Shortly after 2:30pm, officers responded to a report of gunshots at the Scotchman convenience store at 2388 Otranto Rd. At this time, no gunshot victims have been located but there was property damage inside the store.

The case remains under active investigation, and no arrests have been made.
