Norfolk Southern is on scene and has fixed the malfunction enough to reopen the roadway. We appreciate the public patience, as this unexpected incident was handled.

Due to an apparent lightning strike, the railroad crossing on Ashley Phosphate Rd has malfunctioned and is blocking the roadway.

Ashley Phosphate Rd is closed, in both directions, with detours being set-up.

Please find an alternate route until further notice.
