North Charleston Police detectives (NCPD) have charged four people in connection with a homicide that occurred on July 27th at the Retreat at Palm Pointe Apartments.
Shortly after 6 p.m., officers were dispatched to the apartments at 2561 Fassitt Road following reports of a shooting. Officers were already in the area investigating a vehicle suspected of being involved in an incident within the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office’s jurisdiction.
When officers arrived at one of the apartment buildings, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
