In the early morning hours of January 10th, 2026, the Hatboro Police Department received a 911 call where a resident reported their vehicle had been broken into. Responding officers canvassed the surrounding area and located an additional two vehicles that had been broken in to. Shortly after, the same officers observed two individuals enter an Uber in close proximity to the break ins, all of which occurred on Earl Ln.
The officers made contact with these individuals and found that they were two juveniles who did not live in the area. These juveniles were both dressed in all black clothing with black face coverings and a black back pack. They were questioned and released from the scene.
The investigation continued and surveillance video was obtained which revealed the two juveniles that were contacted by HPD Officers were the same individuals breaking into the vehicles. They were subsequently petitioned to juvenile court for these offenses. Because both of the offenders are juveniles, their names are being withheld from this release.
