On February 16, 2026, at 2:44 a.m., Hatboro Police responded to a security alarm at Sullivan Scrap Metal on Oakdale Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered fresh footprints in the newly fallen snow, which led them on an extensive trail. The investigation ultimately resulted in the apprehension of three brothers, Matthew Knight, Edmund Knight, and Andrew Knight, who had committed the crime mere moments prior. The brothers were taken into custody and charged with burglary and related offenses.
