Officer Corter Mental Health Award

Please join us in recognizing Officer Tyler Corter for his compassion, professionalism, and dedication during a recent mental health crisis response.

Officer Corter responded to a call involving an individual in distress on a bridge and, through calm communication, empathy, and patience, was able to safely talk the person away from danger. His actions played a vital role in the positive outcome of this incident and serve as a powerful reminder of the impact that compassion and crisis intervention can have in moments of need.

We would also like to thank Center for Community Resources (CCCR) for recognizing Officer Corter with an award honoring his role in this life-saving response. The award was presented during the community resource fair held at Shaw Park, bringing together organizations and community members focused on mental health awareness, support, and wellness.
